Ejector

AROL expelling systems are designed to detect and remove non-compliant caps (inverted, missing foil/liner, defective) either automatically or manually along the feeding channel.

They are key components for maintaining operational continuity, reducing jams, and preserving overall line efficiency.

MRS – Manual Rejecting System

Manual expelling system for inverted caps. Suitable for speeds up to 25 000 cph.

Main features:

  • Manual removal of overturned caps
  • Dedicated sensor detects incorrect cap position
  • To be installed away from the pick & place inlet curve

AED – Automatic Expeller Device

Automatic system that ejects inverted caps using a pneumatic actuator.

Main features:

  • Automatic detection of overturned caps
  • Pneumatic cylinder for expulsion
  • Compliant caps continue to the pick & place

D-AED – Dual Expeller Device

A solution dedicated to caps with long pourers, which are not compatible with the standard single starwheel.

Main features:

  • Combination of a mechanically synchronized infeed starwheel with one or two inverted-cap detection starwheels
  • Suitable for complex geometries

LS-AED – Linear Sensor Automatic Expeller Device

Ideal for caps with magnetic foil. Uses an inductive sensor to identify inverted or foil-less caps.

Main features:

  • High detection accuracy
  • Ejection by momentary stop and targeted sorting
  • Maintains a continuous flow between sorter and capper

LC-AED – Linear Camera Automatic Expeller Device

Suitable for caps with non-magnetic foil, it uses a camera to detect anomalies.

Main features:

  • High detection accuracy
  • Ejection by momentary stop and targeted sorting
  • Maintains a continuous flow between sorter and capper
  • Integrated machine vision system

Thanks to the implementation of these systems, production lines maintain high efficiency, avoid blockages, and improve the overall quality of the capping process.
